After graduating from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Karl’s passion for sculpture led him to Pietrasanta, Italy, where he studied stone carving. His expertise as a sculptor is further demonstrated by his teaching roles at Gallery 37 in Chicago and the prestigious Pietrasanta Marble Carving Studio in Italy.
